[He wonders if he'll ever get tired of seeing Ronan, ever not want to see him, or if it'll always be like this - a sense of comfort, a bit of happiness at seeing him there, knowing he came to wait for Adam. Adam knows that feelings fade, relationships end, but even so he can't imagine ever being unhappy to see Ronan.]

What a coincidence.

[It was strange at first, finding all the ways to fit together, feeling out each other's boundaries. It's still not always easy now, especially with the things that happen here. Adam has been vulnerable in ways that he wouldn't have wanted Ronan to see, at least not so early on in their relationship, and Ronan has had to deal with things he shouldn't have to. But is that so different than their friendship, everything they went through at home?

They made it through, like they always have. Adam does not doubt that Ronan loves him. Part of him did at first, not because Ronan is untrustworthy but because Adam simply had a hard time believing it. But Ronan's stuck by him even when it was difficult, he hasn't changed his mind or gotten sick of Adam's cautious and cold nature. It's something that matters more to Adam than he can really put into words, but he wants to try.

Not now, though. Now they're heading home.

He glances at the door of the clinic, closed now, and reaches to take Ronan's hand. Adam doesn't care if people know about them, but he knows that Ronan is not always so comfortable revealing his secrets. It's no one else's business, anyway.]

I wouldn't mind some company.
